Hailuoto-seura is a local heritage association established in 1996 in Hailuoto, with the aim of promoting local knowledge and preserving culture.

The association actively organizes various events, art exhibitions, the "Sunnuntaikuvaajat" photography group, and the "Tikkuröijypiiri" knitting circle. The village house "Pääkauppa," restored through the association's volunteer work, operates during the summer as a café, a handicraft shop, and an art gallery.
